de Poiares, is a newly built Villa called Casa Cleeve.
This villa has been designed by us and has panoramic, south-facing views of forests and mountains. It has been built with every attention to detail to create a beautiful home which we enjoy sharing with our guests who want to experience luxury accommodation in stunning surroundings with magnificient views.

The spectacular views from our terrace, which extends the whole length
of the Villa, are quite breathtaking and ever changing with the seasons. The tranquility and beauty of the mountains
and landscape will leave you with a lasting impression of this rural area of Portugal.
We are Lin and Rob Bedenham and we have lived in Portugal for 20 years so
understand how to make your stay here truly local and memorable. We ran Casa Cleeve from our previous home for
8 years, and look forward to welcoming guests back to our new villa which is just 4 km from the old one.
With our excellent knowledge of the Bairrada region we can do our utmost to help you experience the mountains and coasts of this beautiful, unspoilt area.

Here is our beautiful, infinty-edge pool, which floats above the panoramic view at first floor level. The other end of the terrace has a large covered patio offering shade or sun (as you prefer) for much of the day.
The French windows to our guest suite are on the right so it is just 10 steps to the pool.
The large windows are from the guest living and dining room, which you have exclusive use of during your stay.

Vila Nova de Poiares is approximately 20 km from the University City of COIMBRA, which is full of old charm and character and well worth a visit to absorb the atmosphere of Portugal and the hospitality of the Portuguese people.
